She believed she could, so she did!

Shaun Broussard

She believed she could, so she did! That’s right. I did it Style Digz is open for business, Girl! The road was not easy, but it was not as hard as I thought it would be either. The hardest part was actual letting go of my fears, because my fears were the source of my excuses. Excuses brought me comfort. Everyone loves to be comfortable especially me but being comfortable was not yielding the life I desired. I had to make a change.

So, I began to believe that it was possible! Then, I found in the Bible that nothing was impossible, Luke 1:37. I was like Jesus, that must be a sign …lol. When I am shaky about doing something, I am always in need of a sign. That’s hilarious because most of the time I know what I should be doing.   Don’t judge me, I’m sure you can relate.

After I received my “sign.” I purposely took practical steps to change and went to work on myself and Style Digz. I wrote out a business plan. It was not deep and detailed. It was just a plan addressing my why, ideal customers, and my business focus.  I didn’t have all the answers because I was new to the industry. I had to write my vision for Style Digz. The business plan was my guide and kept me on track.

Once the business plan was complete. I worked on my mind by listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and reading articles.  My mindset changed one decision at a time. Meaning decisions, I made had to align with my dreams. Remember, life is choice driven and a sum total of decisions that you have made. Make wise decisions.

I addressed my mindset, so, I had to do the work. Meaning I had to put action behind what I believed. People remember believing will not bring your dream to past. You have to work. While working expect bumps here and there. I had several rough bumps. The rougher the road got, I held on to my dreams tighter. The fear drafter further away. Bumps were only distractions. You have to trust in a Higher Power greater than yourself. I celebrated small victories! Celebrating small victories kept me on course and made it seem so doable.

Step by step, Style Digz manifested!
